    *NEW* for 2012. Wimbledon College is positioned in the heart of Wimbledon and close to Wimbledon Common. The sporting facilities at the school include a large sports hall, indoor heated swimming pool, playing fields, outdoor courts and activity rooms. Activ Camps will be running multi-activity camps during the Summer holidays in 2012. You can book individual days or full weeks and we offer free extended hours: 8.00am to 6.00pm (registration at 9.15am and pick up from 4.30pm).

    Timings

    Drop off is between 8.00am and 9.15am in the sports hall beside the main field. Pick up is at 4.30pm (pick up for 4 year olds is at 1.45pm) from the sports hall. We also offer a free extended day until 6.00pm if needed, please do let us know if you wish to use this service.

  • What to bring

    Your child will need to bring their swimming kit and a change of clothes every day. Don't forget lunch and snacks for break times. We operate a healthy snack shop during break times for children requiring extra energy. A water bottle, with your child's name on, is recommended as we encourage all children to drink water regularly throughout the day. Please ensure your child also brings sun cream and a sun hat for all days on summer camps. As we cannot provide cream for all children every day, please apply the sun cream to your child in the morning before camp commences and send the appropriate factor with your child. Your child's Group Leader will remind and assist your child in reapplying the cream throughout the day (unless you advise us otherwise).

    What your child should not bring

    Mobile phones. There is a telephone in the main office on all camps that all children can use to phone home. If it is essential for your child to have a mobile phone we require this to be handed in to the Group Leader at the beginning of the day. Computer Games, music players of any kind, water pistols and water guns will be confiscated and locked away in the main office until the end of the day. We cannot be held responsible if items go missing, nor compensate for them. We provide all the equipment for all activities so there is no need for your child to being their own.
